Tomorrow is the Summer Solstice. And sure, you could focus on the negative things, like how the days only get shorter now, or how the solstice celebrations just haven’t been the same since Saint Eligius crashed the party. Or you could run. And since this isn’t the South Brooklyn Moping Club, we’d like to encourage the latter.

So we invite you to interrupt your midsummer night’s dream, and join us at the corner of Court and President tomorrow morning, when we will run to (and over) the Brooklyn Bridge to bask in the dawn of a new season. We will be leaving at 5:10 am (sharp), so don’t be late! And bring your phone – nothing will make your instagram friends more envious of your active lifestyle than the inspiring beauty of the sun rising over New York City, captured as they sleep soundly in their air conditioned apartments.
