Fellow
Southboroughites:
Tomorrow is indeed a
big day for Southborough. We get to decide who we would like for several key
positions in our town government. The key contested positions are for Selectman
and for the Planning board. For at least some of you it will come as no surprise
that I support Sal Giorlandino for Selectman.
I've never worked
with Sal on any committee, but have experienced him through the position he
currently holds and respect him as a man of commitment, honor, and caring for
the town and it's citizens. I do not see that John Rooney measures up in nearly
the same way. John talks about leadership but has not committed himself to
anything with respect to this town or it's citizens, either in the past or for
the future.
I've also never
worked with Andrew Mills on any committee, but I do know Paul Cimino and in fact
signed his nomination papers. Until I learned he was supporting John Rooney, I
would have likely voted for him, but now will not.
Please take your
vote seriously tomorrow and move past all the negative rhetoric and vote for the
people that have earned our support--Sal Giorlandino and Andrew Mills. The polls
will be open from 8am to 8pm.
PLEASE VOTE! Thank
you.
