Kayak Lesson, practice

Hi,

 

I just helped crew the Tahoe 24 hr adventure race and want to start racing myself.

I was wondering if anyone knows of a good southbay clinic or if anyone has a double who would want to take me out sometime. I'm trying to determine if it's worth it to buy my own kayak (I'm thinking not because you always really want to race in a double, right?).

 

I know those clinics go on in Foster City every Wed, but that is such a hike from  San Jose on a weekday.

 

I know of Stephen's Creek Res, Calero Res, Uvas Res for practice. And ofcourse am willing to pay your parking fee if you want to take me out in your double.
