And also to let you know that there are a ton of updates on the
website, including:
a) new day-pass rates (including student/senior rates) for Friday and/
or Saturday, for those who can't make the full festival but would
still like to attend part
b) the opportunity to only purchase a ticket to Friday night's Voices
of Resistance performance, an $8 fabulous arts extravaganza all on its
own
c) detailed venue / time / room / schedule descriptions and info, to
help you plan every minute of your Kriti visit, from panels to
readings to shows and more...
d) info on how UIC and Roosevelt students/faculty/staff can register
for free
e) details on new panelists who have just joined us! It just keeps
getting bigger and better!
f) info on our collaboration with Funkadesi (performing at
Fitzgerald's, and offering a discounted rate to Kriti participants --
dance the night away!)
Pre-registration rates go up again on April 15th, so register early
and often! Tell your friends! (The more registrations we get early,
the more extra-special additions we can make to the festival, like
planning for yummy food at the receptions. Early registration is a
huge help to us, as well as very nice savings to you!) And remember,
DesiLit is a non-profit organization; we offer sliding-scale discounts
to those suffering financial hardship -- please just inquire at
in...@desilit.org if needed.
