I am pleased to inform you that IDLO will conduct an E-Learning course on "Using the Law and Legal Policy for an Effective Response to HIV and AIDS”, (www.idlo.int/elearning <http://www.idlo.int/elearning> ) from November 22 to December 17, 2010. The course will be conducted online for four weeks and would be highly beneficial for government officials, civil society representatives, development agencies and private sector actors designing or implementing HIV and AIDS programs. It will also be useful for lawyers providing services for people living with and vulnerable to HIV. The course this year is in English. We plan to offer a French version in 2011.
Kindly find attached a course description for further information. Please note that the registration for the course should be carried out online using the following link: www.idlo.int/elearning <http://www.idlo.int/elearning> Applications to attend the course should be supported by the candidate’s curriculum vitae. The course fee of Euro 350.00 should be paid by 8th November, 2010 at the latest.
I would be very grateful if you could assist us to identify participants by sharing this information with your local bar association, law society, Ministry of Justice, Ministry of Health, National AIDS Program manager, Country Coordinating Mechanism (CCM) chairperson, President of National Network of People Living with HIV/AIDS, as well as with your colleagues and friends whom you think could benefit from a course of this nature.
