Dear All,
We write to you on behalf of the Secretariat for the Third National Bioethics Conference to be held from 17-20 November 2010, at AIIMS, New Delhi. We are writing on the reference of Dr. Subroto Kumar Mondal, Senior Manager at PFI.
The theme of this conference is Governance in Healthcare, Ethics, Equity and Justice.
This conference is conceptualised by the Indian Journal of Medical Ethics (IJME), which for the last 17 years, has been involved in promoting ethics in healthcare: in clinical practice, public health and research; in institutional functioning and health policy. In this process it has also helped in the development of bioethics in India, as a discipline as well as a movement for healthcare reforms.
Since 2005, the IJME National Bioethics Conference (NBC) has provided an opportunity for collaboration among organisations and institutions from biomedicine, public health, social sciences, law and the non-governmental sector. This collaboration brings together practitioners and scholars for reflection and debate on the ethical issues that confront our healthcare system.
Please find attached with this e-mail a brochure which provides the details about the Conference. For further details, and for registration for the Conference, please visit the Conference website www.nbc3.ijme.in <http://www.nbc3.ijme.in> . If you wish to participate please register online at the earliest.
We look forward to your participation at the Conference. For any further queries, please contact the Secretariat (Sama - 011-26692730; CSER - 022-26681568).
