Call for abstracts: 2011 Conference "Mind the Gap: From Evidence to Policy Impact"
Deadline for abstract submission is January 31, 2011

The International Initiative for Impact Evaluation <http://www.3ieimpact.org/> , the National Institute for Public Health in Mexico <http://www.insp.mx/> , the Inter-American Development Bank <http://www.iadb.org/?lang=en>  and the Center for Labor and Social Distributive Studies <http://cedlas.econo.unlp.edu.ar/eng/index.php>  in coordination with the Impact Evaluation Network <http://www.depeco.econo.unlp.edu.ar/cedlas/ien/>  and the Poverty and Economic Policy Network <http://www.pep-net.org/>  are co-hosting an international conference "Mind the Gap: From Evidence to Policy Impact" <http://www.impactevaluation2011.org/> in Cuernavaca on June 15 -17, 2011.

Researchers, policy makers, program managers from Latin America and around the world are invited to submit papers presenting impact evaluation findings or experiences in managing and using impact evaluations for better development results. Some of the key themes of the conference are: Governance, crime and violence; post-disaster recovery and climate change; labour markets and migration; health and nutrition; urban development; and support to diversifying livelihoods.
