Subject: [CompetitionOnlineForum] CALL FOR PROPOSAL (7Up4 PROJECT EVALUATION)

Call for Proposal
Evaluation of the project entitled, Strengthening Constituencies for Effective Competition Regimes in Select West African Countries (7Up4 Project)
DEADLINE EXTENDED TO 15th OCTOBER 2010

CUTS has been implementing a project entitled, ‘Strengthening Constituencies for Effective Competition Regimes in Select West African Countries’ since June 2008 with support from the Department for International Development (DFID, UK), International Development Research Centre (IDRC, Canada) and the Ministry for Foreign Affairs (Sweden).
A purpose of the 7Up4 project was to develop the capacity of multiple stakeholders in select countries of Western Africa, and bring the debate on the need for an effective competition regime into the wider public domain. Another purpose of the project was to help countries refine their competition regimes, and to also assist them in tracing a roadmap for its effective implementation.
CUTS is now inviting proposal (containing technical and financial components) from eligible firms to undertake an evaluation of the 7Up4 project and prepare a report of this exercise. Details of the Terms of Reference (ToR) of the assignment is available at: http://www.cuts-ccier.org/7up4/ToR_Project_Evaluation.pdf
Proposal should be sent to Rijit Sengupta (r...@cuts.org, c-c...@cuts.org) on or before 15th October 2010 by email. Any clarification on the assignment can be sought before 8th October 2010 by sending an email to Rijit Sengupta (r...@cuts.org).
