Again Christian, stand fast!

Gal 5:1 Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made
us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.

This week was my birthday, and I have been looking back and thinking;
over the years left to my own ends, at times my own compulsions have
proved far too strong making me to make a successive series of unwise
decisions.

Rom 7:5 For when we were in the flesh, the motions of sins, which were
by the law, did work in our members to bring forth fruit unto death.

Christian, I have discovered God has invested in you and I great
potential that we through choice can accumulate serious liabilities
that finally lead to humiliation and death or turn around into great
assets.

Rom 6:22 But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God,
ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life.

This Easter may we came to grips with our driveness/ sin captivation,
by facing the inner direction/ rebukes God would have liked for us to
have heard within our inner self. This means back to the cross were we
died with Christ brethren!

Rom 6:7 For he that is dead is freed from sin.

How is this achievable?

Believe me brethren; it is nothing of our selves. But an inner life
riddled with unresolved ungodly drives will not be able to hear
clearly the voice and leading of the Holy Spirit when we need to take
up our own cross and become disciples. When we are Lead away into
God’s freedom and glorious destiny.

Rom 2:28 For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that
circumcision, which is outward in the flesh:

Unfortunately our society abounds with wrong mentors; men and women
held captive by ungodly driveness; driven to accumulate, to be
recognized, or to achieve. What are you hungry for? What kind of
appetites are you and I fostering? Lets come clean.

1 Pet 2:11 Dearly beloved, I beseech you as strangers and pilgrims,
abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul;

Our Churches unfortunately are too affected; so many churches are
fountains gone dry, rather than being springs of life giving energy
that cause people to grow and delight in Gods way have instead become
sources of stress a different sort of bondage.

Acts 15:10 Now therefore why tempt ye God, to put a yoke upon the neck
of the disciples, which neither our fathers nor we were able to bear?

Beloved let us rediscover the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord
displayed at the cross!

Where shall your soul and mine be found this Easter? I hope at the
foot of the cross!

Mt 11:29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and
lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.

I am committed to enter daily into his presence and stay there. To
hold on to the wonderment of Christ’s love and not exchange it for
another.

Mt 11:30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
