[Cornwall Towns Association]

Greetings from Cornwall!

We all enjoyed the conference and welcomed the opportunity to network
with other community groups and share our problems and opportunities.
Events of this nature always re charge my batteries - sometimes you
think you are the only one with a particular problem!
Like Wiltshire we are pre occupied with the move to a Unitary Council
and ensuring that community plans are at the core of the action plans
for our community network areas (Community Boards in Wiltshire). We
are also trying to produce a route map of a project on its journey
into all the Countys strategies ie LAA PID's, Strategic Partnership
members, County wide and regional LA strategies, area plans etc We
want to show this in a diagram and ensure that community plans are the
first consideration when others are producing their strategies.

I realise that different areas will have a different route map, but
has anyone experience in this area we can draw on?
