Thought it might be helpful to introduce myself and Shepton 21.

I'm the admin secretary of Shepton 21 Regeneration Partnership here in
sunny Shepton Mallet and also Secretary of the Chamber of Commerce. My
'day job' is writing websites and so I get very involved with using
the web as a communication tool in our regeneration work.

I work closely with Zena Pollard, our chairman, and we have an
enthusiastic management committee representing different parts of the
community.

We have our strategic plan in place, have attracted quite a lot of
funding into the town, and are working on a number of projects. It's
probably redundant to list them here, but please have a look at our
website at http://www.shepton21.org.uk for more of an idea what we are
up to.

It struck me at the conference how different all the towns are, but
also how much we can learn from one another and I am really glad this
forum has been set up. I hope we can be a support to one another and
share experiences.
