As for 108 College Street, yes the HistComm can take some credit. However, much credit must go to the citizens group Friends of the Castle at http://friendsofthecastle2.org. I think the lesson is that when a historical commission and a citizen’s group have a common objective, the chances of success are greater than if either works alone.

Here is a copy of the Phase I report for your files. I’ll call you soon to arrange a meeting to pick out the addresses for the inventory. I think we can do it from your website photos and a street map. Then we can jump back and forth and save lots of time and gasoline.
