Raising Chickens at Instructables

The Instructables's web is is a trove of interesting projects and just plain inspiration. It was developed by the same person that created the first Howtoons [1] that my kids love. (Every child needs to make the marshmallow shooter [2]). Anyway, they have a section on raising chickens with a number of coop projects [4]. I really like the tractor [5].

The BBC did a show called the Private Life of Chickens.  It's not available here, but somebody put it on youtube in 10 minute chunks.  I watched the whole thing, and really enjoyed it.  The link to the first of the segments is here
