I think we bit off more than we can chew with 25 chicks. We need to get the chicks outside more and, moreover, out of the studio. What a dusty mess 25 chicks make! (Chris's side of the studio has a thin layer of saw dust + feed over EVERYTHING!) Any suggestions for how to house, keep warm, and contain the dust for 25 chicks, preferably outside, is much appreciated.

Years ago I bred cockatiels, which have a natural powder on their feathers. The dust those birds produced was unreal. I bought some Bionaire air purifiers and they worked amazingly well. I'd suggest a model with HEPA filters. You might consider that instead of moving them? They should be feathered in 4-5 weeks, at that point you wouldn't have to worry about keeping them warm and they could go outside. How old are they now?

The air filter is a great idea. And we have a big one unused in the basement. Thanks for the advice.

Hello!
Here's a website I stumbled upon looking for a moveable pen for some
new chickens. I thought everyone might enjoy looking through all the
coop options!
