Due to decisions made by the federal government, our community members who rely on food assistance (food banks, SNAP, etc.) are more vulnerable than ever.  Our local farms have also been affected.

Either directly or indirectly, these decisions impact everyone.

Please join us on Thursday evening for the next program in the League’s “Restoring Democracy” series to learn more about how these decisions impact our community, and what we can do about them – both as individuals and together.

Are you concerned about…

  • The loss of federal funding that’s impacting community members experiencing food insecurity?
  • How decisions made at the federal level are affecting our local farms and farm workers?

If you answered “YES” to either of those questions, we hope you’ll join us this Thursday evening!
