Are you interested in making our streets safer for EVERYONE?

“Safe Streets & Roads for All”

Thursday, May 28, 2026

5:30 to 7:00 pm

(5:30 Trivia Game & Prize Drawing, 6:00 Tap Talk)

At Common Fields, 545 SW 3rd Street, Corvallis

Join the League of Women Voters’ next Tap Talk to hear our guest speaker, Rory Rowan, Transportation Division Manager at the City of Corvallis Public Works. Rory will be speaking about the work and conclusions of the Safe Streets & Roads for All Task Force.

From Fall 2024 through Spring 2026, the City of Corvallis led a planning effort to enhance road safety for everyone who walks, bikes, rolls, uses transit, or drives in the city. Come and learn about the Transportation Safety Action Plan that was developed using data to identify where and why crashes happen in our community and the solutions that have been proposed to reduce crashes that result in fatalities or serious injuries.

A trivia game and prize drawing will start at 5:30 p.m., followed by the presentation at 6 p.m. Plan to come early or stay after the presentation to grab a drink and/or a bite to eat, and visit with other attendees.

All are welcome!
