Marys River Bridge to Kiger Island Road Paving
![]()
Construction has started
You may have seen crews in the area setting up the work zone to make improvements to OR 99W in south Corvallis.
We’re planning to:
- Remove and replace the pavement.
- Apply new striping to the road.
- Upgrade several curb ramps to meet current ADA standards.
This work will give you a smoother ride, improve visibility and help make the area more accessible, whether you drive, ride, walk or roll.

Traffic impacts
You can expect:
- Most work to happen at night.
- Lane and shoulder closures with flaggers directing traffic when needed.
- Sidewalk and curb ramp closures with pedestrian detours to the nearest available crosswalk.
- Ramp closures with detours as needed – we'll let you know when we have a better idea of when the OR 99W ramp to OR 34 / U.S. 20 closure will start.
- Construction noise – saw cutting concrete can get loud.
- Delays. Plan ahead and allow extra travel time.
Businesses in the work zone will remain open during construction. Please continue to support local businesses while work is underway.
