Draft GovDelivery message regarding upcoming EPA/community workshops


Next week the Department of Environmental Quality and the Oregon Health Authority will participate in three community workshops focused on the soon to be released draft Cleaner Air Oregon rules addressing industrial sources of air toxics. DEQ will issue the draft rules in mid-October for public comment. The Environmental Protection Agency, which is supporting the workshops, has been working with community members and environmental health organizations organizing the workshops with the goal of increasing community awareness of Oregon's Cleaner Air Oregon Initiative (suggest providing a hyperlink to the appropriate OCAO site) and how citizens can help shape the new regulations.
