ICE watch training: Tues. Feb.10, at the library at 6 PM

A two hour ICE response program presented last evening was excellent and will be repeated Tuesday, February 10 at the library at 6 PM. I suggest you arrive early in oder to find a seat; do not park in the parking garage as it will close before the training ends. Take paper and pen, and your phone.

Confirming ice activity, constitutional rights regarding warrants and search, accountability through active observation and creation of video evidence, active intervention tactics, and Portland Immigrant Rights Commission (PIRC) are a few of the topics covered.
It would be good to have at least one trained person on every block and for teams to be ready to support observations.
