Silent Vigil for Unity and Peace

Friday, January 23, 2026 12pm-1pm Central Park (8th & Monroe), Corvallis

Hi Everyone,

If it’s nice out and not freezing cold, I’ll be near the 8th Street side of Central Park on Monroe. Do dress accordingly.

▶️ If it’s raining or too cold, I plan to sit across the street in the old part of the Corvallis library on the first floor, over by the original front doors.

If you happen to be in the area and feel called to join, you’re welcome to spend your time in your own way—sitting, standing, reading, knitting, coloring, stretching, meditating, or simply breathing in the moment. We’ll each arrive and leave as we feel led, with no formal beginning or ending.

If you’re not in the area or don’t have a chance to come by, you’re welcome to do the vigil from wherever you are.

No need to RSVP—just show up if it speaks to you.

I’ll have an extra chair, umbrella, and throw blankets if anyone needs them.

Peace & Blessings,

Maureen
