Message from Pacific Power:

“Hello, this is an emergency interruption notification from Pacific Power. An emergency power interruption is scheduled for Thursday, May 28th, starting at 2 AM and ending at 3 AM, lasting for approximately one hour. 

Interruption effect 4282 customers in Corvallis, Oregon. This emergency interruption is necessary to make emergency repairs. Over your suspending numerous plan interruptions due to other events, this interruption is critical to preserving system reliability and safety.  

Our crews will take all steps possible to minimize the length of interruption. But some of the work will be safely performed with the service be energized. As a precaution, please unplug any sensitive electronic equipment during interruption. So I appreciate your patience.”

I just called Customer Care regarding Text Message from Pacific Power this evening.

Text Message contained a major typo 🙄 

They are still planning on a one hour outage from 2am to 3am.

No need to panic or buy ice for your fridge. Everyone can chill out.
