Meet & Greet Melissa Bird this Sunday

Just a reminder of an event I'll be hosting this Sunday, a Dance Party/Meet & Greet for Melissa Bird for Congress this Sunday evening.

Dr. Melissa Bird is running for Congress in Oregon's 4th District because she knows what everyday life feels like. Bird is a parent, a trained social worker and descendant of the Shivwits Band of Paiutes in Utah. She's also the spouse of a federal employee who lost his job amidst widespread research cuts. As a working mom, she's faced job loss, tough financial decisions and the stress of making ends meet. She believes policy should reflect real experiences, not political games. Melissa is stepping up to serve, listen, and make sure the voices of this community are truly represented.

I do believe we need folks like this in office who truly support regular folks like us.
