Dear Friends,
The Corvallis Sustainability Coalition encourages community members to become informed and engaged on issues of community interest. Toward that end, we wanted to let you know about the following upcoming event:
Facility Funding Options Open House
Tuesday, August 8, from 6:00 to 7:30 pm
At the Law Enforcement Building's conference room, 180 NW 5th Street
This event is open to the public and will focus on planned changes to two downtown buildings: City Hall and the Police Station. It will include:
- A briefing on the process so far;
- A presentation by the City’s financial consultant, Clearwater Financial, about facility funding options under consideration; and
- The timeline for City Council's decision-making process.
The City of Corvallis has also invited community members to participate in a questionnaire to gather feedback about options for funding changes to the Police Station and the Civic Campus, which includes City Hall, Municipal Court, Finance Department, and Community Development Department.
We encourage community members to attend the Open House on Tuesday.
