Fall Family Garden Hours at Lincoln School

Hello garden friends and neighbors, 

Just a reminder that the open garden hours at Lincoln School are: 
        October: Tuesdays and Fridays 5-6:30pm (Weather permitting - not during heavy rains)
           November: 1st three Saturdays 3-4pm. (Weather permitting - not during heavy rains)

This Friday - We could use your help!  We will be getting a delivery of compost (for the garden) and bails of straw (for path mulch) around 4:30pm.    Plant cover crops, harvest and clear beds, spread compost, etc.

Thanks to Stahlbush Island Farms and Lincoln parent Tracy Miedema for arranging the donation of compost and straw.

Come help prepare the garden for the winter or just come see what is growing!  We have grains and the rain water harvesting tank is helping us with the watering!
