Neighborhood Bikeway Prioritization Open HouseHello Active Transportation Newsletter Recipients,
You are invited to the upcoming Neighborhood Bikeway Prioritization Open House!
Join the City of Corvallis Active Transportation and DKS Associates staff for an open discussion on the prioritization of future Neighborhood Bikeways on Tuesday, March 31st, from 5:30 to 7:30 pm at the Downtown Fire Station (400 NW Harrison Blvd).
Neighborhood Bikeways aim to prioritize people and provide low-stress routes for people traveling by foot or wheel, while still accommodating motor vehicle traffic and on-street parking. This project looks at the City’s remaining eleven Neighborhood Bikeway projects identified in the City's Transportation System Plan to help speed up future build outs by prioritizing, and developing, conceptual designs and costs for the top five projects.
There will be no set presentation for the event — come and go as you please. We hope to see you there!
Can’t make it to the in-person event? Participate in the online Open House running from March 31 to April 14.

Western Friend is learning and sharing ideas for new attenders in Quaker meetings and those who care about them. If you have a good way to welcome newcomers to Friends Meetings, let us know here. It might be a flyer inviting someone to come to worship, a good book about Quakers, an online glossary of Quakerese, or the curriculum for a class about your Meeting or about Quakers. Share it in the online treasure chest.
It's not necessarily the medalists who get the most out of the Olympics. It's those who are willing to strip down to nothing and bear their soul for their love of the game. That is so much greater than Gold, Silver, or Bronze. We all want a medal, but not everyone will get one. Some are going to leave here feeling like heroes, some will leave heartbroken, and some will have had moments when they felt both - because we care. That is real. That is life. It's amazing and terrifying and wonderful and brutal and exciting and nerve racking and beautiful. And honestly, I'm just so grateful to be part of that.
