Primary Candidate & Ballot Measure Forum on April 21st
The public is invited to a Primary Candidate and Ballot Measure Forum on Tuesday, April 21, from 6:30 to 8:30 pm at the Corvallis-Benton County Public Library. This forum is being hosted by the League of Women Voters of Corvallis Voter Education Committee and is co-sponsored by the Linn Benton Branch of the NAACP.
The Candidate Forum will begin at 6:30 pm, giving attendees an opportunity to hear from Benton County Commissioner candidates Pat Malone and John Wilson. To learn more ahead of the forum, community members are encouraged to watch recordings of the candidates’ responses to the following key topics:
The Ballot Measure segment of the forum will begin at 7:30 pm. Attendees will have an opportunity to learn about the four ballot measures related to proposed changes to the Corvallis City Charter. Panelists include City Councilor Tony Cadena and former City Councilor Andrew Struthers.
The forum is an in-person event only. A recording will be made available afterward on the League’s YouTube channel.
