Hey neighbors! 

As many of you have seen, supported or contributed to our farm (Flicker & Fir) over the last 14 years,  I wanted to send out an invite to our farm's 14th birthday party this coming Tuesday at 6:00 p.m. It will occur during the Southtown FarmStand and Market (5-7pm).

We will have cupcakes and sunflowers for everyone in attendance! I invite anyone who reads this to come on Tuesday night! At 6pm or so we will do a short program and give out the 1st ever Sunny Awards.

They'll be great music, good food from the market vendors and of course the goats will be there to please the young at heart. No cost to attend.

Lamas (the traditional first day of fall) reminds us that the light is shifting—the evening air is cooler, and maybe you’re reaching for that extra layer as you head out. The markets are overflowing, the tomatoes are ripening, and the plums and figs—like the ones donated last week by generous local growers—are sweet and plentiful. And it’s still Sunflower Season! 🌻 Our tall giants are standing proud, and the farm is alive with buzzing pollinators and golden blooms.
