Please consider leaving the stove off until the air cleans, and if you do run your stove, please use only seasoned, dry wood and run the fire HOT rather than damped down. If it get too hot in the house, open a window.
In addition to particulate pollution that can damage lungs directly, wood smoke contains other toxic chemicals including benzene, formaldehyde, acetaldehyde, acrolein, and polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs).
