Painting contest for Dussehra: Your voice in support of PEW

Dear friend,

The South City Dussehra Celebrations and Cultural Association (‘SCDCCA’) is pleased to announce a painting contest for South City residents of all ages – young and old. Details are as follows:

-        The painting (one or more) will be in A4 size and an original creation of the entrant (no AI, computer assistance etc please)

-        Theme of the painting will be: Physical Empowerment of Women (‘PEW’)

-        Entries may please be forwarded as an attachment via e-mail to: MaDurga....@gmail.com.

Please include in the e-mail: name, flat no. and age of the contestant, certify the painting to be his/her original creation, and convey reproduction rights of the painting to SCDCCA

-        Entrants will be classified into two groups:

o   (i) Young Adults (upto 30 yrs age) and

o   (ii) Other Adults (age: 30+ yrs).

A winning entry will be selected for each of these groups

-        Entries will be evaluated by the following criteria:

o   Relevance of the painting with the PEW theme

o   Quality of painting

o   Visual appeal of the painting

-        SCDCCA’s decision in all matters will be final.

The better of the two winning entries will be chosen as the Durgapuja Souvenir Utsav 2024 ’s cover page.

So, painting enthusiasts, please pick up your brushes and get into action pronto.
