Poster Drawing Competition - a mail to the participants

Hello,   Following is the list of participants. Group A (upto 10 years) is further divided into two Houses: the Orange House, and the Blue House. The 'above 10' category (Group B) is the Green House.   Participants are requested to arrive at the Club House (the event will be hosted in one of the inner rooms) by 11 am. The competition will last an hour. Participants will be given drawing sheets and are required to bring their own drawing material. They will write their names only on the reverse of their drawing sheets (Parents of the younger participants are requested to kindly help them correctly write their names, age and flat nos. on the reverse of the drawing sheets).   Since we already have a full house of registered participants, please do not bring un-registered participants to the hall. Details are provided below:   Date & Place : Saturday October 1, 2011, 11 a.m. at the South City Clubhouse, inner room.   Age-groups:  Group A - Age upto 10 years;                      Group B - Age above 10 yrs. No upper limit.   Themes:   For Group A - "An object I like"  or "A festival I have liked"                 For Group B - "Dussehra symbolises the unity of ...."  (e,g., India/Culture/Art/ Good over Evil, etc. Imagine what you wish to portray and write your caption on the poster)   Prizes: First prize and Second prize. The prizes are likely to be sponsored. The sponsor's name will be announced in due course.   Other info: 1.  SCDCC wil provide A4 size papers                   2.  The competition will start at 11 am and will last for 1 hour                   3.  Any medium may be used (pencil only, colour pencils, crayons, water colour, pastels etc). Each competitor is requested to bring his/her own drawing/colouring material, sharpener, eraser etc. so that he/she doesnt have to borrow from others                    4.  Parents will vacate the hall while the competition is on.                   5.  SCDCC will have the right to reproduce and display the drawings. (The original drawings will be returned to the competitor at end of the festival).                   6.  A participant may choose to paint for pleasure without entering the competition should the participant so wish.   Co-ordinators:  Sm Nandita Sengupta and Sm. Indrani Chakravarty   All children and adults resident in South City, irrespective of age, are cordially invited to participate.   Parents are requested to encourage the children to practice right from now so that they may produce an excellent piece.   Registration: Please register with Names, Apartment no. and Age of the participant to Sm.Nandita Sengupta (Mobile:9742054435; Extn. 6196) by telephone/SMS, or by replying to this mail. Registrations will be accepted on first-come-first-served basis.
