Dear friends,
As in every year, Dandiya will be on, in the safe environment of South City this year again.
Time to get ready with your most gorgeous dresses and procure your sticks well in time.
And don’t forget to collect your passes early to avoid last moment disappointments. As you know, the no. of passes will be limited to avoid overcrowding and to ensure safety for all.
The date: Nabami, Wednesday 1st October 2025 evening. Like always, we hope to prepare for you a safe and excellent venue equipped with the best of songs, sound, lights, and a full power back-up. It's your Dandiya !
And...this time there will be a professional Dandia DJ - DJ Sandy with his special repertoire of Dandia music.
Date of event | Wednesday, Oct 1, 2025 evening, 7 pm - 9.30 pm approx. |
Who can attend ? | Any resident. You will need to show your South City ID while collecting passes. |
Can a non-resident attend ? | Yes, if sponsored by a resident. Only a resident can collect passes against his/her South City ID. |
What about children ? | Children below 10 yrs will be allowed free (an age proof will be required), provided each such child is accompanied by an adult. |
Can my son/daughter’s friends staying outside attend ? | Yes, if sponsored by a resident. |
Only a South City resident can collect passes against his/her South City ID.
Please note that SCDCCA retains the right to add or make exceptions to any of the above guidelines without having to show any reason.
