GENTECH: A reminder that the Genealogy Tech Forum, an online meeting to discuss technology topics related to Genealogy and hosted by our very own Scott Niblick, will be this coming Monday, October 6th, from 10:30 to 12:00 noon. The meeting is on Zoom and the link is both below and in the LINKS newsletter you received a few weeks ago. Click on one or the other to enter. LUNCH DEADLINE:  Reservations for the October 21st luncheon meeting at the Elks lodge in Ruskin, 1630 South US 41, must be received by Sunday, October 12th. If you haven't already paid, please mail your check right away and include your menu option on the memo line.

CLASS: One of our members, Judy Lee, will be teaching  Beginning Genealogy Class  at the United Methodist Church in Sun City Center beginning on Tuesday, Oct 7 from 3- 4:30 p.m. through the Center for Life Learning.  The class runs through November 11.  The class will cover the basics of how to get started and the free websites where you will find a lot of info on your ancestors.  Call 813-634-8607 to find out more and sign up.
