SACA, which stands for SOUTH ASIAN CULTURAL ASSOCIATION, is the
premiere South Asian cultural organization at SUNY New Paltz. We host
numerous events throughout the school year to allow students to get
more involved on campus, meet new people and most importantly try to,
have fun. SACA also serves as a medium for uniting the South Asian
community at SUNY New Paltz through its events. We strive to spread
awareness of our traditions, lifestyle, language, and most
importantly, food. However, although we are primarily a South Asian
organization, we accept members of any background.

Any individual that will supply free food and refreshments at the end
of every meeting, will be thanked =)

So whether you're looking to get more involved, meet new people, or
see me, the bi-weekly SACA meeting is the place for you. Please make
your best attempt to be present at every meeting. Your involvement is
always needed and valued.
