Position: Windows Admin

Location: Dallas, TX

Duration: Long term Contract

 

Job Roles & Responsibilities:

They are trying to migrate for 30-35 servers which are located in their Richardson data center (managed by different Vendor).  Some of these are P2P and some may be P2V migrations.  The person would need to perform migrations based on the outage window of that application, and also help with Change Management for these outages and migrations. Some of the servers/applications may have an outage window from 1-5 or 8-12 midnight etc. But mostly they would not be during business hours except a few

 

Must Have Skills:

1. Very strong on Windows & Clustering

2. HP Servers

3. HP Blades / Blade Chassis

4. HP Virtual Connect

5. VMWare 5.5

6. Physical to Virtual (P2V) Migrations

7. Physical to Physical (P2P) Migrations – using product/tool PlateSpin

 

Nice to Have/Desired Skills:

The candidate needs to have good communication skills and ability to work independently.

 

Additional Remarks (If Any):

The candidate would be required to be working from client HQ location, in order to participate with change management process and work with Infra Architect very closely.  Please provide a photo of the candidate when submitting profiles. Thanks!
