If own an MTS MBlaze USB 3G Modem and receive the error message
"mblaze cannot access serial port make sure you have appropriate
permission," the solution to it is a lot simpler than it seems.

The driver installs, but each time you run MBlazeUI, you see this
error message and it refuses to go any further. "Windows 7" users can
resolve this by running this program in 'Compatibility mode' for
Windows XP (before SP2).

At the Control Panel -> Network Settings, remove any Dial-up Accounts
you have - that are not being used. This may include Dial-up accounts
you were using earlier, but have stopped using now either because your
service provider has changed or your hardware has changed.

Reinstall the MBlazeUI by just inserting the USB Modem. As soon as you
are done, launch the Dial-up Internet connection (which MBlaze creates
during installation).

Your username must be
inte...@internet.mblaze.in
Your password must be
mts

The above two are case-sensitive. Just hit dial. You will connect
instantly. If you don't have balance, you can only visit http://mtsindia.in
- all other sites are blocked.

To resolve this issue you need to select the MTS_PC_SAFE option also while installing the MTS setup.
after completing the installation just restart the pc once. after this you can access the MTS without the error.
