THEME CAMP REGISTRATION EXTENDED!

Theme camps offer our community an exceptional level of interaction, creativity, and fun by providing dedicated themed zones for all of our enjoyment.

Feb 1 is the last day to submit an application. So get some folks together and discuss an interactive idea where we can all play with you! Check the following the link for more information and to fill out our online form:


Camps already in the works: Pirates, Reggae, Yoda/Angry Birds, Ninjas, Diva Devas, Choice smoothies, Oahu, sweat lodge, and more.
At this late date, we cannot guarantee placement, however, submit your soon to be in consideration!

Don't worry PayPalers... you will receive your beautiful SOURCE souvenir ticket at the front gate of the festival. 

For those non-webbies: 
The paper tickets are gorgeous and will soon be available at the following locations:
Maui Kombucha (Haiku), Wine Corner (Paia), Requests Music (Wailuku), Dragons Den (Makawao).

If interested in purchasing paper tickets at any of these locations, please call ahead to confirm they have arrived and are available for purchase.

Tickets for 4 days, food, camping, and festival events are $180 right now. 
Once Feb 1 hits, they go up to $200. So get yours soon! 

Our goal is to sellout the festival BEFORE the gates open. So hop on it folks. 

Remember this isn't just a one time festival purchase, there are excellent year-round events to apply your SOURCE Membership to.

SOURCE MIRACLE FUND IS OPEN FOR DONATIONS & NOMINEES

Since the beginning of SOURCE, when 20 people sat in a circle and threw in $100 each to seed this project, we have never had a large financial backer. 

SOURCE is grassroots through and through. In an effort to expand our community we wish to invite people that we would dream of sharing this experience with.

IMPORTANT MEETS

**Tuesdays: Music Meeting: ReSource: 730-930p

Our intrepid Music managers meet weekly on Tues to develop the fantastic musical entertainment for our event. They are now looking for volunteers to fill shifts helping with Build Week, setup/breakdown of live act equipment, Band & DJ escort & coordination, and headphone jockey shifts for the excellent Silent Raves happening nightly at Source.

**Wednesdays: General Meeting: ReSource: 730-930p

Every Wed we meet to discuss the Source event as a whole. Department Heads are in attendance so you can plug-in to assisting with Music, Build, Art, Kitchen, and so much more. This is the heart of Source right here. All departments are looking for assistance as me make the mad dash to the final countdown to Source! Drop in and help us make 2012 an extraordinary Circus of Dreams!


** Friday (Jan 20) : Wedding Meeting: ReSource: 500-700p

Wedding Ninjas are meeting to finalize the details for Remy & Sara's Wedding Celebration, happening Friday at Source. If you are interested in helping with setup for the ceremony, wedding feast, and other activities, attend or give a call to Sara McGrew: 808-269-7204



** Friday (Jan 27): Wood Pallet Pickup

We have a nice stack of wood pallets at Ryan Poe's in Makawao. These pallets are ideal for dance floors, staging, and any number of other usual needs. We request 3 trucks to be available to mobilize the pallets.

The plan: Meet at Casanovas at 10am. The moving train will go Ryan Poe, do a pickup and distribution to pallet holding sites until Source. We expect to be finished by 2pm. If you have a truck and are interested in helping message Bryan Axtell: 808-276-0145



** Saturday/Sunday (Jan 28/29): Work & Survey Mission to Keanae 

Come out to Keanae to see the lay of the land, measure out the main field for Theme Camps, Dome, and Theater Stage prep. We will also be doing some final clearing of cane grass so we have ample camping space for Source Fest! You are welcome to camp and stay over night Saturday. 

Important Note:  Bring your own food and drinks people, there will be no formal meals prepared.

Theme Camps! This will be your one and only opportunity to check out your camp placement before Build week commences in February. 

Bring tools: Machettes, Weed Wackers, Rakes, Saws, Shovels, etc, as we will need all hands on deck!

** Monday (Jan 30): Bedouin's Lounge Practice Setup

Bryan Axtell is looking for help with the practice build of the Bedouin's Lounge.
This will be occurring at the Paia Pad on Monday and will be a quick action for setup, measurement, and breakdown.

UPCOMING FUNRAISING EVENTS

Your Source Membership does cover entry to any of the events below, however, the Source Team requests you offer a donation anyway. Each of these teams are putting on excellent events and are in need of financial support for their Source Festival creations. The donation is optional... and strongly encouraged. Show your love!


**Ultraviolets take the Stage!

Date/Time: Saturday, January 21, Dinner will be served at 5pm, Show starts promptly at 8pm

This is dinner-theater like you've never seen before! Experience Rachel Deboer's new blacklight dance troupe as they launch their first live performance. Enjoy dinner and drinks as the lovely ladies entertain you in full body paint, costumes, a nd original dance compositions! Kit Kat Klub will be featured as well. This is a night NOT to be missed!

All proceeds go to benefit the Source Festival Performance stage ... which this year will be crowned by a Circus Tent!!

**Welcome to the Future Slam, Maui's monthly poetry slam opens their doors to Source!

Date/Time: Thursday, January 26, 930p til close

Come check out the creme-de-la-creme of Maui poets slammin it down for you. DJs Sweet Beats and Matt Lane will be holding down the dance floor until close. Special guest performance from Aly Cardinalli and Maui Onstage's FLASH DANCERS. Poets compete for $100 prize (sign up to speak by 945).

Location: Casanovas, $5 before 930, $10 after


**Our Beats are Broken, an evening of Drum/Bass & Breakbeats

Date/Time: Thursday, February 2, 930p til close

DJs Keegan House, Aaron Jae, IMAT will be putting down the beats. Dr. Jerry will be performing magical feats. Come out and help us raise money for Source and get your groove on.

PARTICIPATION!!! IT'S WHAT SOURCE IS ALL ABOUT

We are looking for hands to assist with areas of need during the festival. This includes helping Gabe Mott build the Art Museum and learn how to put on an art opening while you do it! 

Amina needs assistance at Hospitality, where you will be helping new arrivals orient themselves, find camping, and discover all Source has to offer. Loving, friendly, out-going people required!

Sara McGrew is looking for lovers of cleanliness to assist with keep the bathrooms in order throughout the event. Not to mention we are asking everyone to contribute to the breakdown and cleanup at the end of Source.

SOURCE FESTIVAL's SECRET IS OUT. BUILDERS HAVE MORE FUN!!

Help us build SOURCE, have fun, learn, play, eat, and be merry!

Build weekend is our Roustabout (Feb 10-12), we are looking for a big turnout and help in putting up the major structures (domes, circus tent, art gallery, and more!). Many hands make light work and will make sure that we have everything up in a timely manner. The sooner we have the major structures up, the more free we are to decorate and make a true Circus of Dreams for everyone to enjoy.

Sourcers will be at Keanae for the entirety of Build Week from Feb 10 to 16th. Come out for 1 day, a few, or the whole week. We will have wrist bands, so anyone wishing to come out to early, the expectation is you are throwing down for the festival as a whole, not just for your own camp and gear.
