Hello Volunteers!
So many volunteering opportunities and so little time! But listen, this one from Center Camp Cafe is very interesting.
Here's one for both, those of you who are going to the event this year and those who won't be!
WHAT: Make your own version of the Man, take a picture and send it to the playa!
WHERE: Pictures will be displayed in Center Camp Cafe, Burning Man, Black Rock City, Nevada
WHEN: Now until August 20th

Volunteer to participate in an art project for Center Camp Cafe, even if you can't go to the event this year!
Bummed that things just didn't align this year so you can make it to playa? That needn't exclude you and your family from a fun volunteer art project that you can contribute and send in!
Volunteer to Make Your Own 'Man' out of Found Objects and Take a picture!
Center Camp Cafe’s Sound & Performance Team Would Love Your Virtual Presence!
WHO: You, your friends, your kids, your pets?
WHAT: Make your own version of the man and take a picture to send to playa!
WHERE: Here, Now- but to be shown on playa!
WHEN: Between now and August 20th!
HOW: Follow the directions below and email your photo to
CONTACT: cafesoundgroupart (at) gmail.com
We will be creating a slideshow video from the photos you submit.
The video will be playing on TVs lining Center Camp Cafe’s Performance Stage between acts at certain times (mostly at night).
Use (non branded) objects to create the man!
Take a picture! Email it!
Go to this link to print out a PDF of the image HERE
Use objects around your house to recreate the man!
(You do not have to use the template, but it it provided to help with sizing and accessibility if need be.)
Objects include everything and anything you can think of!
To see some examples of what we are talking about go HERE
Take a picture (preferably 300 dpi, but we can work with most resolutions above 120dpi) and

Please send us your photos before August 20th so we have time to put them all together!
Also note- if you send in an image, they may also be used at SF Decompression!
