I realize that we have several FB pages for Source. I can't seem to find one directed at community/Source related projects. Does this page exist, or am I just not a member of it? If it doesn't exist, let me know & i'd be happy to create it. The intention would be to have a page where we can discus community projects that aren't Source sponsored, but that Sourcers might be interested in participating in, you know, spreading that Source love around :) I believe a good part of Source is showing face in the community, so if we had a forum for people to post potential volunteer projects, it would help us grow in the public eye as well as a group.

Feedback please?

If a page doesn't already exist, I'd like to create one called "Out Source". because we love a good play on words.

Made a theme proposal along those lines. Didn't even know about SOURCE's elephant in (or more like 'out of') the room. Let me re-submit it:

Once more into the breach: we ready ourselves now for penultimate takeoff preparations for destination: 7th Heaven. What direction will this take? None can say really, just as none could have dreamt just where and how far we'd have sailed together with it thusfar. 

We have HOWEVER pre-determined and set intention that this will be the final intrepid venture 'FURTHER' in to the Source, and the climactic conclusion to our heroic efforts and rewarding end to the innumerable gifts we've shared with eachother. All good things must end, and as cookoo as it sounds: soon we too must leave our nest.

It is HOWEVER our responsibility to say for ourselves just how we want to go OUT, and soon it will be incumbent upon us to declare our culminating theme.

So be it declared that as we step out on untested and uncertain wings to leave the security of the festival, it is nigh time we shall see whether we fly or die. Will we let the life of the party end here, or will it move on with us to greater heights previously unimaginable OUT in the real world?

So as shit's about to get real up in here, be it humbly PROPOSED that we, this last go round...
~ go balls OUT! Bring it and wear it OUT!
~ try OUT! Accept, appreciate, and honor all the offerings we have for each other with open hearts and minds. Try freely sharing our inner visions and Open-Sourcing OUT these kernels to grow freely in the care of our larger Ohana
~ cry OUT! Shout OUT (KŌ'Ū!) our songs and prayers, Howls, Yelps, and Joyful noises unto the Gods! 
~ come OUT! in revelry and mirth, yet also OUT to eachother (and the world OUTside our cozy and safe little island community) in honest revelation, courage, and pride
~ venture OUT into the great unknown, taking what we have grown here OUT into the greater world at large. Seek OUT and discover new life, and boldly go where no party has gone before!
~ go OUT swinging in HI style and OUTstanding fashion!

Be it therefore SUBMITTED that our grand finale's theme indeed be:

is it possible to have a facebook group post automatically to a googlegroup?  or the opposite?   I would appreciate a googlegroups list.  if the traffic gets high tho i can anticipate blocking it.

for reference, source 7 is not the last ever source.  source 7 marks the moment to reconsider.   we are in fact this weekend looking at first possibilities for a more permanent source home moving into the next couple of decades.

? I found it through the link & I am a member, however it doesn't show up in my communities (I have to search for it). Nor does it send notifications when a post is made. In fact, it's almost invisible unless sought out. Is anyone else experiencing this?

Facebook only sends a percentage of group members notifications (or shows on your home view) when posts are made.  For free, low bandwidth groups this is a negligible percentage - most will never see updates/posts.  If however, you pay a fee, your group/company can get a larger percentage of their posts out to people who have subscribed.

Ggroups on the other hand send em out and let your mail system do the filtering for you personally… or let you chose to only see them when you come to the GGroup web page.
