You can still carry goods from a few squares a way back home.

The difference is that if there is no "warehouse" on a square the workers won't automatically start gathering resources, so you will have to give the order to gather resources from a specific deposit.

Hi.

Is chapter 9 in the campaign mode working as expected? I've been trying for hours to beat it and I haven't found the trick yet. It's the one where you get 6 necromancers and you're supposed to make it to d1, but there are 5 towers of one type and 7 of another.

It can be done. Eventually set the game speed to fast to accelerate mana regeneration.
