Hello Acapeople,

Here are the finalists in the retreat house vote! Please email me with your preference for 1st choice and 2nd choice. Remember, retreat is October 13-15. The prices listed are for 13 of us, since Baby Caruso could be here by then!! 

1) Closest - Milton, MA

Driving Distance: 20-30 mins, and you can take the train too!

This one is a little different than normal listings I send. I toured this house as a potential wedding spot, and it wasn't quite right for us, but it seemed great for a retreat. The owner has taken it off airbnb, but is still accepting rentals and I have been emailing with her, and she has availability for our weekend!

It has 6 bedrooms, plus a loft with 2 more beds which is a finished attic space. Total beds was around 10, so plenty. And I believe it has at least 4 baths.

Price: Still waiting on confirmation from her, but I think it will be between $100-$120 per person. Probably closer to the lower end.

Amenities: Big yard with lots of space for activities. :-)

2) Lakefront Dream House, Barnstable, MA

Driving Distance: 90 mins

Price: $126/person

Details: 5 bedrooms/4.5 baths,  9 Beds

Amenities: Lake front, multiple decks, 2 kitchens

3) Black Bear Lodge, Lebanon, NH

Driving Distance: 2 hrs 15 mins

Price: $108.53/person

Details: 5 bedrooms/3 baths  10 beds (including a bunk room)

Amenities: On the water, pool table, good hangout space

4) Farther away, but INDOOR POOL! Conway, NH

Driving Distance: 2 hours, 45 minutes

Price: $116/person

Details: 6 bedrooms/2 baths, 10 beds

Amenities: Indoor Pool duh! Also a sauna.

Hey everyone!

Quick retreat thing- I spoke with the owner of the Milton house, and the pricing she originally told me is not what is showing on airbnb. It would be $128 per person to rent that house. The second place house (Lakefront dream house in Barnstable) would be $126 so not a big difference. I just wanted to check in with you all and see if that changes anything with what you want?

If not, I can go ahead and book the Milton house! Or we can say we are mad that her pricing was wrong and book the Barnstable one :-)
