can't monitor/can't spot to daw

Hi, i recently installed soundminer to run with pro tools. Suddenly, i
am having an issue that i can't figure out. After opening soundminer
through rewire in a pt session - i am unable to monitor out of
soundminer and when i try to spot to daw and get this warning:

"The engine reported an exception with this file:
Name:NSInternalInconsistencyException
Reason:Unable to get track"

Any info would be appreciated!! Thanks. dave

You have your sound output set to use the digi core audio driver.
This blocks soundminer from working(even when using rewire) when
protools is running. Swap it to built in (System Preferences/Audio).
and everything should be fine.

We're hoping the newer builds will stop this problem(or at least warn
you about it)

My output is set to built-in output. It is not a matter of soundminer
playing and me not hearing it - it is more a matter of i can't get
soundminer to play at all - the spacebar doesn't work - there is no
movement of the playback head.

You should contact techsupport (at) soundminer.com   Chances are you are running an old version of Soundminer. (Apple broke some playback of some wav files in some Quicktime update a year or so ago), and we did a workaround.
