Some sounds not playing

I have close to 300,000 sounds in my library.  One set of sounds won't play, but all the rest play fine when auditioned.  I can transfer the sounds into Pro Tools and they play there, but not in SM.  I've tried tossing out the database for those sounds and reimporting them, but still no sound.  Any ideas?
