Steam family sharing only works if one person is playing at a time. I tried that with my oldest son. When he was playing a game in my library, I was not able to play any games in Steam at the same time, even if the game I was playing was different than the one he was playing.
lol...I'm going to trust the word of the Steam customer service rep who gave you the facts about the Steam Family Sharing feature of the Steam website. Why ask further from random community members who are only going to speculate when you got the official answer from the official source? Because you didn't like the answer?
Like I said, I was confused about that because after searching about it there was a lot of conflicting info. IE, it works for some, not others. I was hoping to get an "official response" here since my support ticket has gone unanswered for nearly a month. I wasn't aware that the devs don't read their own community forums, my bad.
Or just login to your "master" steam account when you want to play your game on that system. The game saves don't transfer in the cloud though, so it would only work for server hosted games unless you mapped both systems game save folders via a network mapping.
Turns out it was good that you did. The official word is that 7 Days to Die does support the Family Sharing feature and that it is working properly. Alloc checked on it when I brought it to his attention. Sorry for my earlier dismissal.
So i tweaked the words on the steps because of the confusion with the word "search". totally my fault...you'll want to look for the person's steam name or gamertag in the server list. you'll have to refresh multiple times to find it though.
I have been using Mobile steam app and got authenticated since January, after the new updates on system "March 9", I am getting trade holds for 15 days, but I knew I am already mobile authenticated since Jan. On march 10 or 11, I tried to remove and re-authenticated on steam app, guessing i need to ,because of the update. After weeks and up to now, I am still getting trade hold for 15 days.
I looked on forums and reddit about this.I got this. "activate both options "Trade confirmations" and "Community market confirmations".but I don't have this options on my privacy settings both on my Chrome browser, steam client and steam app. I can't find anything about this.
However to prevent trade holds you need to have the Mobile Authenticator active for 7 days straight. Since you mentioned removing your Mobile Authenticator on March the 10th or 11th then you should have your trade holds removed March the 17th or 18th.
I had the same issue as well. My problem was the confirmations on my mobile authenticator were being sent to my email address instead of my phone. You can change that on your phone through the Mobile Guard settings, and set it to have confirmations sent to your phone. After you do that, remove the listing of the item you want to sell and then put it back up. You will then have a confirmation sent to your phone and you can create the listing there and there will not be anything put on hold.

Steam Days is a 1986 BBC Two television documentary series written and presented by Miles Kington. Each episode is themed around the history of British steam locomotives and railways, particularly highlighting preserved locomotives operating at the time of its filming.[1] The series consists of six half-hour episodes. It aired on Public Television stations in the United States under the title Great Steam Trains. Two episodes, "Going Great Western" and "The Fishing Line" are available to watch on the BBC Archives website.[2][3] The whole series subsequently became available to watch on the BBC iPlayer.[4] but until 8 December 2017 and is currently not available.
Since 3 days my GW2 on Steam isn't working properly. I can start the game, hear sound but there is no video output. Other games work without problems. Also gaming without Steam like BG3 from GOG work properly. For test purposes I installed some GE-Protion8 versions but this didn't change anything. Someone else with the same problem here?
Nearly every time I start Steam GW2 seems to be updated. I also already tried ALT + ENTER but this isn't changing anything. I hear the sound of the game but don't see anything. This is weird because other games work without problems. I looked in the log folder of steam, there is a lot of log files inside, which of them could contain any useful information.
Pixman is a linux package, its used for 2d stuff. So its in nobara in your case. But its not the problem as if it was the same issue that it caused you wouldn't get into the game at all. Then you get the launcher, it says "initializing" and once past that everything just completely locks up.
As for getting a log: In steam, go to the properties of gw2 and put "PROTON_LOG=1 %command%" into the launch options without the quotation marks. This will then make proton spit out a log into your home folder when you launch the game. You may also want to go into the compatibility tab and swap the to Proton 8.0-5 just to see if that works.
Yep, try checking the timecodes when the game opens as that's where the errors should start appearing. The gtreamer stuff could be causing it and that is, in this case, part of steam itself, you can try verifying the "game files" of proton 8 in steam and see it that helps.
The reason is mangohud, it causes the problems with GW2. It was globally activated inside Goverlay and also passed as command argument inside steam. I turned off this global enabled inside Goverlay and also removed mangohud %command% and voilla GW2 runs again.
Big Boy left its home base in Cheyenne, Wyoming, on June 30, traveling across Wyoming, Utah, Nevada, California and Idaho during July.
