I am writing to let you know that my book Listening After Nature: Field Recording, Ecology, Critical Practice is published by Bloomsbury on June 2nd. Details can be found here.

This book has been bubbling away for years and I’ve written it with students/practitioners in mind. It departs from the practice of field recording and disciplines of sound arts/studies, crossing fields in the environmental humanities that include: media ecology, animal studies, anthropology, discard studies and pedagogy.
