Harvard University: Ma'rifa 2020 Conference Sponsorship

I wanted to pass along a request form the students at Harvard University. They are putting together a conference to address the needs of Shia College Students nationally. I would highly encourage to take a few minutes to read their request and consider making a donation, to this historic initiative.

Asalaamualaykum Dear Community Members,

We are pleased to announce the launch of Ma'rifa 2020: Self Discovery & Imagination at Harvard University on February 28th-29th. Ma'rifa 2020 is the first conference of its kind, a conference specifically catered to address the needs of  Shia College Students. Through the guidance of respected Ulema, scholars, and community leaders this conference will seek to address issues of Shi’a identity, spirituality, activism, and community.

We have received a massive amount of support for this conference from students who would like to attend however are unable to do so for financial reasons. As such, Ma'rifa 2020 is looking for individuals who would be willing to sponsor students in need of financial support to attend the conference.
