I would like to encourage you all to attend the RISEsummit this coming weekend, a one-of-a-kind Muslim activism conference being put on by some dear friends of mine. Activism is meaningless without spiritual grounding and ascension towards Allah.

The purpose of the conference is to challenge participants ideas and make them think critically about the social paradigms and mental constructs in which we all operate.
