Muslim Advocates invites you to join us at the DC District Court on Friday, April 21 for oral arguments in UMAA v. Trump.
The Muslim community is having its day in court, and we want you there.
Friday, April 21 at 2:00 pm will be the first time that any DC court has heard arguments against the Muslim ban, and our own legal director, Johnathan Smith, will be arguing part of the case.
UMAA v. Trump, which Muslim Advocates, the Southern Poverty Law Center, Americans United for Separation of Church and State and Arnold & Porter Kaye Scholer LLP filed jointly last month is the first example of any court case arguing that the Muslim ban infringes on the religious liberty of the Shi'a Muslim community.
Will you come out to show the judge that the people are against the Muslim ban?
