As-salamu Alaykum,

Muharram in Manhattan at IC-NYU will be starting SUNDAY 7pm (RSVP: http://bit.ly/1OhTgZk ). There will be no program on Saturday night. We hope to see you all then.  

We are still looking for sponsors please consider making a donation. If you would like to participate and recite poetry please reply directly to this email. 

The program will be held at the IC-NYU (238 Thomson Street, 4th floor) every night from the 2nd to the 11th of October, 7:00-10:00pm. The program will consist of evening prayers followed by poetry, lecture by Sh.Faiyaz, lamentation, and dinner. The theme for this year is :  In the Footsteps of Hussain. We will Announce the details the Ashura program on the 1st of Muharram. The programs are free and open to everyone.  Each night will cost us around $1700, inclusive of all food and program costs. Make a tax-deductible contribution to NYU Muharram fund.
