Uploaded files available

Hello fellow Soulseekers,

                                             I've uploaded TONS of files - can ANYONE tell me if they are showing up and are available for downloading?  If not, I'm wondering if there is some button I've neglected to click on or some setting I need to change?  I am not the most tech-savvy person in the world and would appreciate any help.

Hi Duke,

               Thanks for responding.  I don't THINK I'm using a virtual private network but I'm not sure what it IS?  I have a MAC Mini and I have US Internet (fiber optic) as my provider.  If you can help me out and tell me what to do or what I'm doing wrong, I would be most grateful.  As I said, I'm not the most tech-savvy person in the world.  I just want the files I've uploaded to be available to EVERYONE.

Hi Tom:

You're not using a VPN; you'd know if you were, as it would have to have been installed and configured. A VPN 'disguises' your IP and location, and enables you to get around location blocks (like trying to view UK-only content in the US, for example).

Although it looks like you are not on line just now, Soulseek "sees you" and shows 8,176 files being shared.
