I recently had a surprise power outage and it crashed my Soulseek QT. When I rebooted and logged into SoulSeek QT, it asked me to login and basically start from scratch.

Meanwhile, I also discovered that I was likely using a version that was a couple of years old. So I downloaded the latest version and ran it.

What I find is that my File Download Queue, Userlist & Chat History are now gone/missing.

I see that I still have my "Shared Files" list and my Wishlist Searches.

I have found older "soulseek-client.dat.XXXXXXXXXXXXX" files of varying sizes and dates, one that is right before the crash.
I have also found old "SoulSeek Chat Logs" folders, some look to be from an old version of SoulSeek NS and also quite up to date Chat Logs from SoulSeek QT.
This is the location of the latest SoulSeek QT chat folder I found:

      C:\Users\Username\AppData\Local\SoulseekQt\Soulseek Chat Logs\Users

Could someone please give me some tips or point me in the direction of how I might restore my lost data from the:
 - soulseek-client.dat.XXXXXXXXXXXXX files (for instance a way to rename each file one at a time to its perhaps generic name, start up SoulSeek and see what I can see as far as File Download Queue & Userlist?)
 - Saved Chat Log folder files

Also, I have tried the Options/Extras/Import Client Configuration Data option, which is looking for a ".SCD" file, of which I cannot find a single .SCD file on my computer. I'm not even sure what Client Configuration Data is, but I was at least hoping this might solve some or all of my current File Download Que, Userlist & Chat History issues. Apparently not!

I also tried the Options/Extras/Import User List from original Soulseek client option, which looks for a "hotlist.cfg" file, of which I cannot find this file on my computer either.

THANKS IN ADVANCE FOR ANY HELP THAT ANYONE CAN OFFER!

EXTRA NOTE/QUESTION:

By the way, directly related to my message above, is there somewhere that information about backups, restoring after a crash, config files, chat logs, etc. etc. (everything I've asked about, in general) is well summarized? I've tried internet searching, searching through this Google Group and through the Soulseek General Discussion Forum (https://www.slsknet.org/news/forum/2) but haven't yet found an easy answer to my issues/questions.

Thank you!

it's pretty simple. Lose SS completely.Go to folder where soulseek-client.dat.xxxxx files are.
Chose last one potentially keeps your config right before outage, most likely biggest in size. Copy full name from latest file was created by SS. Now rename it adding for exmple -- in the front of file name. Now rename to copied name file you choosed as latest before outage. That's it
